"This piece is inspired by the aromatic Marimar Estate wine pinot noir called Mas Cavalls. In Catalan "mas" means farm and "cavalls" means horses. In this case the artist's intent was to enhance the vine grape with symmetry and exaggerate the shape. She uses the surrealism as a way to portray mundane life into the extraordinary, creating totally new scenarios.
The story behind this painting is about a vine grape trying to escape from the vineyards with her suitcase. She doesn't want to share her juice with anyone else's and she is lost. Sometimes sharing is not caring."
